The Birmingham 2022 World Games Organizing Committee today announced that the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) will host multiple competitions on its campus and partner with the global event on multiple initiatives.
The 2022 World Games (TWG2022), an international multisport event organized with the support of the International Olympic Committee, will hold their 11th edition in Birmingham from July 7 to 17, 2022. A projected number of 3,600 athletes will participate in more than 30 different sports throughout the year. along the Games.
Competitions for the 2022 World Games will take place across the entire UAB campus. BBVA Field, home of UAB men’s and women’s football, will host The Crosse.
